First Full-Scale Pressurization
The rotating habitat ring has been successfully pressurized to nominal operating levels during initial spin-up testing. Structural deformation and vibration profiles closely matched simulation predictions.
Sensors distributed throughout the ring confirmed uniform pressure distribution and stable rotation once target angular velocity was reached. No anomalous stress concentrations were observed.
This test marks the first time the habitat volume has operated as an integrated system under rotation, representing a major step toward crew-ready conditions.
