Long-Duration Stability Confirmed
The life support system has successfully completed a continuous 180-day closed-loop operation without external resupply. Atmospheric composition, humidity, and trace contaminant levels remained within nominal parameters throughout the test period.
The test scenario simulated cruise-phase conditions, including delayed maintenance cycles and limited crew intervention. Minor software adjustments were introduced during the run to validate redundancy and recovery procedures.
Results from this test significantly reduce uncertainty around long-duration habitation and support the system’s readiness for integrated vehicle testing.
