The Expedition 9 Class of Voyage U-1M, Utopias first journey to Mars, is arriving today to start its six months long simulation training at the Svalbard Simulation Training Facility. The 275 auronauts will spend three months in the newly built Utopia Center and then transition to the Mars Colony Center to continue the training in harsh environment of polar artic islands.

Eva is right now preparing for the maiden voyage of Utopia en route to Terra Nordica, Mars. After studying for three years, she is excited for the launch in 2067.
Now in her third year of preparation, Eva is undergoing an intensive training program: Mars training, teamwork development, primary and secondary assignment specialization, and emergency duties. This year she will also include a visit to the joint Europa Station, followed by a six-month full simulation at Svalbard.
